95 4x4 auto mpg effiency?

I'm not that ignorant, Will. :P

I drive at a moderate pace. Oregon's speed limit IS 55 mph... which I drive about 57 mph to keep the tailgaters away. And obviously taking off like a bat out of hell isn't a good idea... these engines don't have any power in the first place, so when you try to accelerate like you're in a Veyron, the fuel just burns up and no power gets to the rear wheels.

I understand the change in wheels is what changed my mpg, but keeping my old rims and tires was NOT an option. The previous set only had about 5k miles left on them and I received my current set, practically for free. And all the other things I've done, are regular maintenance that weren't kept up with by the previous owner.

As for the A/C, I don't care for it. I'd rather sweat my ass off in exchange for the 20+ mpg I'm getting now with a heavier wheel set.

Spending a couple hundred over a couple months doesn't bother me because it's going to increase the longevity of my vehicle however, the anxiety of spending $75 to fill it up every week... now that bothers me... But that's just a quark in my personality.

And for my cousins 5.0, it seems it's a tad old and not in the greatest shape. So should I not even bother picking parts off it?
