95 4.0 stock injector size

What size injectors were stock in a 95 4.0? Im not close to the truck to tell you what color they are.

Also I acquired some " maroon" top injectors, are these what people call red tops(30lb)?

My 94 had 19lb-ers before I swapped them out for 30lb-ers, but I don't know if that would be the same as your 95. I have found, however, that color coding is an unreliable way to determine injector sizing. You really need to run the part number through google if you want to know for sure.

Why did you need 30lb injectors? Just curious what engine work you have to require more fuel?

monsterchuck has got it right on. stockers are 19lbs and are red. often confused with ford motorsports 30lbs injectors which are also red.

i too am curious what mods can really take advantage of a 50% plus increase in fuel...

Damn. Ill run the part# and see what the maroon injectors I picked up actually are. I was hoping they would be 30lbers, that would save me some coin.

I ran 30 lb-ers because I was running a supercharger with about 5-6 psi of boost. Although 19 lb-ers should have supported that level of boost, I wasn't taking any chances.

91-94 4.0 red top injectors are 19 lb, part no ending in 921 (or 931, can't remember), 95-96 4.0 red top injectors are 30 lb, part no ending in 951...

Did a little research on the injectors I acquired. They are F1SE-E5A Red tops. They are 30lbers from a T-bird.

I'm going to check my stock injectors too, but either way it looks like I have a full set of 30's.

Looks like my stockers are 92TFAA's, which are Red Top 19's.

Also noticed the 30's I acquired have a 4 hole tip on them.
