94 Ranger Starts then dies

When I start my Ranger it revs up higher than usual for about 1-2 seconds and then dies. Some times I will get a little bit of a back fire. It was running fine one day and had no issues. When i went to start it the next day this happened and will not run now. Just not sure where to start. TPS?

Sounds like a vacuum leak maybe. Check all the lines coming off the vacuum manifold, trace them and make sure one didn't break or pop off
