94 manual lost 5th gear?

Driving down road in 5th gear, feels like it slipped out for some unknown reason, try to put back in 5th, goes in easy, step on gas = NO GO!!
I have all other gears. Have driven like this for 1 month. Swapping out stock 3.73 gears for 4.56 and need 5th gear back. Any ideas???

Mine did the same thing a few weeks ago, except 4th gear went out in mine. I haven't driven it since. I can get by for a while without 4th, but I'm afraid of messing up the rest of the tranny if I drive it. Any thoughts/ suggestions here would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to put in a new tranny if I don't have to. Thanks in advance.
