I just recently replaced my slave and master cylinder as well as my transmission. I didnt replace the clutch because its got less that 10k miles on it. Before i replaced everything clutch grabbed when i barely let it out just transmission wouldnt shift due to bad syncros. New transmission shifts fine but now my clutch doesnt grab except for when i let it all the way out.
What could be the problem? Would air in the master cylinder cause this? slave cylinder has no air bled it 2 times.
Thanks, Mike

The symptoms of air in the lines is clutch engagement close to the floor. Maybe your not used to the proper amount of travel of the clutch pedal. As long as the engine isn't over-revving [clutch slipping] while in gear you should be fine.

correct engagement point is about 1/2" to 1 1/2" from end of pedal travel, pretty much like you are saying, it's not a cable clutch where it will disengage near the floor

clutch

So by what you guys are saying when the guy I bought it from replaced the clutch he didn't bleed the lines which caused the petal to grab soon after I released the pedal. And now that I bled everything and replaced it all now the pedal grabs really close to all the way out. Which is how it is supposed to be?

That's the way it should be. It will grab near the top of the clutch pedal travel, ie; it grabs when closer to the seat, not the floor.
Extra info; When the clutch is getting close to worn out, the clutch pedal will engage even closer to the top, and eventually the clutch will slip.
