welding never turned out the best, but i took it slow tacked it on and had the welder turned down and it still burned through alot but i hit it a few times and it never broke off so i guess ill just leave it i also gotta try to fix a rib on the bottom of the pan
what machine are you sing for welding. i recommend straight mig. because the argon/co2 gas helps cool down the metal pool and prevents burn through on sheet metal. it looks like you are using flux core which you can do. but its alot harder.
keep at it and try not to let it get to hot. a bunch of little spot welds that take time to fill in with no burn threw. is better then trying to fuse it in quick pass and a bunch of burn threws. also i dont know what major city you are near but see if you can score a decent used mig machine from craigslist i see a few good ones in stlouis area once a month go for 150-200$ so there are deals on craigslist for welders
siphoned out the old gas, added some new gas along with some methal hydrate and she worked perfect for a while but then she shut off and i managed to get her going again so i drove her back by the shed and now she wont start anymore,, time for a filter change and some new plugs
got her running again, added some more gas and methyl hydral and some stabilizer,, now i think i got half tank of gas and half tank of additives haha but she works perfect now. and i just found a whip that came off my dads dump truck so i stuck it on tonight, gonna mount up the cb tomorrow maybe, and tomorrow night im gonna drive her over to the new house. been moving all day today so never got much done with her. and the hurricane were having dont help lol but i just snapped the pics tonight cause i was for a ride and nothing else to do
