well i took the Big bike out for a good rip and I have to admit i am pretty sure i'm still in truck mode. i was having a hard time riding and not lookin at stuff thinkin about gettin the truck back there to play. but the bike felt great with all the new part's. i guess i'll push off the bike's till race seasone start's. I'm not chasing point's since riding will be sparatic with a newborn around but i plan on hittin a few.

and to belive that's not the one i ripped off. turn's out I had a spare set of mirror's but the driver's was broken, so i never put it on.

thank you very much. i've learned alot over the course of this build and dont think it will ever be completed as i love working on it (read: modifying) as much as I love utilizing it.

Toneau cover is 99% done just need to make some latch's, a prop rod/strut's and finish the weather stripping. turned out pretty nice.
As usual pic's will be coming in the next couple day's as I have to get up for work in about 5 hour's.

This morning i was a little late for work and scored myself a unpaid day of vacation so i came home and replaced the drive flange's for my freebie warn premium's and inflated all the tire's to 30 psi they were around 10. It was actually fun to drive it on the road. Still sway's alot but isnt as herky jerky. Gettin it rolling is still a chore with the 3.55's but once she's movin it's a Blast. tested out the L/S rear a couple time's and busted it out sideway's around corner's on the wet road's. I'm just askin for a ticket in this thing since it stick's out like a sore thumb. I'm anxious to regear and lock it. think it's gonna be a whole nother animal On and Off road

Why not fab up a sway bar with quick disco's?? Or adj shocks like air shocks you could stiffen on road for less sway??

the truck dosent see enough street's for me to really worry bout it. however a buddy's dad that was into truck's year's ago droped off a steering stabilizer for me. he bought it to go on his 79 f-150 that was on 40's but it never made it onto it. found it stashed in the back of his shed, told me it prolly hasnt seen daylight since he moved up here from KY. still in the original heckathorn box. No sticker's tho.

so here is the finished toneau cover. I am planin on adding some cargo light's under it and inside the tool box. but that is a job for another day. still need to add some finishing touch's but i'll work on that over the summer. it's primary goal of keeping mud outta the box should be easily accomplished. there is now weather stripping around the entire perimiter of the tool box and toneau cover. threw the 500W halogen in the box shut the cover and shut the tailgate. and there was no light coming thru anywhere expect where the cord was in the seam on the tailgate, and the rear bed pocket's. maybe tomorow i'll take er out and give it the garden hose test. just need to come up with a method of sealing the pocket's up a little.

Plan on adding more of these clamp's to hold various other item's as well.

and since my antenna was mounted on the tool box i had to move it. still need to readjust the SWR but need to get it outside first

Need to figure out what i'm gonna do for a prop rod. tossed around the idea of gas strut's but prop rod will work just fine.

and by the end of the night i found out how big of a catch all this thing is.

wana take a trip to jamaica? when i was down there they were everywhere! most of them where diesel at that. really got my gear's turning. alot of these honda guy's have the A-pilar forward shiped from japan, why couldnt I have a crew cab ranger shiped?

All it has to do is pass emissions for america and your good to go. In my area, diesel is 4cents more per gallon then gas, its really making me want to find a diesel to put in my truck or somehow find a diesel ranger.

The more you keep doing to your truck, the bigger my todo list keeps getting.

i want a diesel in my b2. i think it'd be awesome... but i could afford a lot of gas for the price of the conversion.

spyder offroad in Horn Lake, MS is doing a diesel swap in a jeep lj, its gonna be pretty cool
