My truck started having issues with stalling out a few months ago intermittently. I was able to start it back up in most cases. It started getting worse and dying at stop lights. After a while trying to get the engine turn over I was able to get it home. My thought was initially that I had an alternator going out, so I replaced that. I also had a shop check my battery and they said it was good (2 years old). Started up the truck and got about 50 feet before it died, then it wouldn't start up again. The neighbor helped me push it back home. I checked for fuel at the schrader valve on the fuel rail and it was bone dry to the point where I took the valve out entirely and got nothing. My next theory was the fuel pump, so after a few work days I got that and the fuel pump relay replaced. I had to replace the electrical connector because I snapped it trying to get it off and I did a pretty shoddy job of getting a new one on there. Everything seemed fine so I tried to start it and just got cranking but no turn over. There was fuel at the rail again though. Next I got a cheap battery tender and tried charging the battery for almost two days then cranking it again and got nothing. It shows around 12.5 volts sitting there and 11.5 volts while cranking. I got a spark tester to see if the coil pack was out - it ended up being a POS so I don't have conclusive results but it looks like there is a spark when cranking. I'm at a loss here as to what I could be missing if I have fuel at the rail, plenty of voltage, starter working, and a spark. I even checked the inertia switch under the glovebox. Any ideas?

can you hear the pump running still after it dies?
