Howdy,

I have a coworker with a '94 explorer that's misbehaving. It'll start up cold and idle ok until it gets up to temp then it'll only run if you double foot it (A4LD). The thing has like 400K on the clock... The IAC is working, I gave him my spare to try also but it didn't change anything.

I'm leaning toward fueling, he says it has good fuel pressure. A faulty fuel injector would be spewing fuel out all the time. When it dies it won't restart for a while, which sounds like a failed regulator. I'll have him pull the vacuum hose and key up to watch for a leaking regulator.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Coils frequently work cold and don't work when warmed up.

I have a spare of those, I'll lend it to him and give that a try.

Thanks
