Please don't take this the wrong way. The following is meant to be constructive criticism.
The front spring hangers on your truck are too long and therefore significant leverage is going to be exerted on them. Not to mention the fact that it will kill your approach angle. Second, the shackle angle on your front springs is very poor, they should be closer to 45* rather than 90*. Third, the way you have out-boarded your springs in the rear is not only unsightly, but it created a lot of unnecessary, extra work. It would have been easier and better to simply relocate the spring perches on the axle that way the pinion angle could be adjusted at the same time.
While trying to save money admirable there are some things that you just can't skimp on.
I truly hope you don't plan on driving this truck on the street. I suggest you do some research before continuing with this project for your safety and the safety of others around you.
Unfortunately, I see a lot of hack-job trucks in Florida so you probably haven't had a chance to see very many good examples of quality fabrication. Good luck with your project.
if u didnt say something i was going to....the fact that u want to drive this truck on a the street is a joke.....
there is alot in building a truck you havent taken into consideration
just please do some real research and fix the issues before u attempt driving and getting this thing impounded on the street
Seriously though, I will be willing to bet you will be losing power with that modified versus the injected engine you had. If both engines were properly tuned.
