93 ranger 3/4 ton sas with leaf leaf springs and v8 swap

A few updates:

Got the rear leaf spring mounts made and put on.
Rear end completely done just gonna unbolt it all one more time and replace all the bushings just to be safe and make shock mounts.

Starting the front tomorrow.

Ill put some pics up after school

20's? :stop:No:stop:

A good set of 17" Racetech beadlocks on 37 or even 38's would look like teh sex. Once i can afford them, that is my plan.

I am digging the build though. I would honestly stick with the 302, but that is just me. Fuel injection is much better than a carb. (IMO, dont you all go freaking out telling me how much better a carb is than a EFI, just my experience)

alright everyone stop hatin on my 20's! ill probably just put a custom paint on the stock 16.5's for now anyway hopefully the truck will be on its own weight all the way around by the end of the week.

and the efi 302 is giving me an electronic problem right now that i can find and i dont want to change the bellhousing on the 4spd tranny and the 351 is built.

then put EFI on the 351. You get a carburetor on a steep incline, its going to die. I know from experience.

And no sir, i will NOT stop hating on your 20's!

I live in florida not many steep inclines to shut it down on!

damn i liked the truck before you started cuttin it all apart looked pretty good even better with the 302 but now it gonna be even better

and do NOT go with 20's!i say 18" rims and 38's itll look sexy

got the truck on its own weight and the 302 pulled.

put pictures up when i get the camera back.

FYI, the 302 and 351W share the same bellhousing bolt pattern, so you won't have to change it, but it you still do, I'll take that 302 off your hands along with that problematic EFI harness and computer :icon_thumby:

no vehicle with a transfer case should have a carburetor

building up a truck, going through all of the trouble to do an sas, v8 swap etc. but using a carb is like remodeling an old house but leaving the outhouse in the back yard as if you like pooping in the freezing cold

when its a 351 modified 400 big block it doesnt share the same bellhousing thanks though.

and on the carb vs efi thing to each his own i like the carb set up better when you do your v8 swap you can use what you want.
