Got 2 days till i go grab stuff need info.
Well im going to give you guys a nice little picture grouping tomorrow. I am going to install my coils this week since i had to fix my moms van and other junk.
Im going to cut the fenders, coils, snorkle, and possibly weld the rear end and im set. Hopefully im getting the job at home depot and im going to start buying parts for my sas. I want the front fully solid axle swapped before i graduate in june.
So far this is my parts list.
78-79 f150 dana 44 with radius arms.
4.88 gears.
Undecided on coils, want some thing flexy, good street manners and 6-7inches of lift on a ranger.
Stock radius arms for now, james duff ones down the road.
James duff bolt on coil/shock towers for sas swap.
Anyone want to chime in on a trackbar ect? Also i think im going to leave it open for a while and lock it down the road.

Keep up the progressI just did a bunch of stuff to my '93. The hangers were not fun.
Do yourself a favor and buy a 92-97 F350 singlecab 4x with a 351 and swap all the parts into your Ranger. This will give you a ZF 5speed, Dana 60 with ball joints and a Sterling 10.25 rear. It'll also give you a BW1356 transfer case, which IMHO is a better transfer case that most NP cases, and the 205 only beats it because the 1356 is chain driven, but it's a HUGE chain. IT also beats the 205 in gear ratio. 2.71 vs 2sumpin
That 4BT is extremely heavy, so you have to worry about the extra weight. Also, It's pretty tall, dont know if it will clear your hood.
The steering box is the same? I never knew this, so i could just swap my box out for a f350 box. Now i will brace/plate the mount.Oh, and you've got a 93, so you you have the same steering box as the Full size Bronco's and F series trucks. (According to parts interchange) So you can run the steering off the F350 as well.
The 4bt is around 700 pounds. It doesnt clear hood if my memory serves right but i planned on having my auto body friend make it a 2 inch cowl or something like that. Im thinking a 1356/1354 doubler. I really dont want to run a sterling rear as ive read about pinion problems.

And yeah benny, big plans. But i have a job right out of high school 60hrs ish a week, 15 an hour. Gather a nice part pile and tools.
