93 budget build! First build actually.

i like your style :P keep it low and keep it cheap! cut some fenders if you want bigger tires like 33"s! you wont regret saving the cash!

Fenders are getting trimmed. Biggest it will be lifted is 4inch. And run 35's. I hate stupid high trucks. Im working on a budget so its staying cheap till i get a job. Id love to sas it and swap to 4wd but i have no idea what id need.

Axle. Transfer case. Tranny. Driveshafts. Manual tcase linkage. And not sure what else.

Also once i get the metal im taking it into shop and welding up a set of sliders. A rear bumper and front bumper.

Well after i finish this application for loves truck stop im going to go work on the truck.

Going to bolt the leafs up and than im at a stand still till i get money for the front coils....

Got the left leaf mounted up. But i need to take my u bolt plates to school and take the drill press and drill them since the centering pin i used has a bigger nut and is too big for the hole. Than the whole rear suspension will be done tomorrow.

Well i decided to bed line the lower part of the doors too like most people do. I seen my buddys 95 with it done and i liked it so i did it. Didnt get pics cause its cold as hell out there.

Tomorrows plans.

Bolt up both leafs all the way.
Torque everything down.
Finsih painting the frame and rear end parts.
Bedline the other side.
Redrill a hole in my firewall and run my temp gauge.

Well got nothing done today. I ended up playing some football, got hit and slid on my face and got a nice rash from grass and bent my glasses. And ended up going out to dinner. But tomorrows going to be warm so im working on it.

What would be a good idea to make some sway bar quick disconnects?

Just Take off a link and see how it handles on the street, if it dosnt have too much body roll just completely remove the sway bar, if it dosnt handle very well the make some quick disconnects

Thats what i planned on but since its not on the road and on jack stands i figured itd be a little easier now.

I seriously need a job again this is killing me.

Like id still like a snorkle too but trying to ponder up some ideas.

Well i had to help my buddy with his 69 panel with a 350 3 on the tree today. he got it for 550 bucks. Runs a+ but has no brakes.

Tomorrow im planning on getting some work done on it.

Also may have a nice little suprise getting rebuilt this winter for it and getting put in in spring/summer.

Alright i know im such a noob but ive never done either of the following.
How should i go about swapping a dana 30 out of a xj in the front?

I know i need a tranny, tcase, driveahafts, clutch, and flywheel and a 8.8 for rear. I will regear and install lockers in them.

I wanna do like the whole front axle first and then the rest since money will be tight and atleast some will be done.

Also how hard will it be to swap a 302 thats carbed in but it has to be 5 speed and work with i think its the bw1350m tcase?

Thanks to who ever can help. Also i want around 3-4inches of lift not too high but some nice flex.

Pics and lots of info will gladly be appreciated.

I know the pics count part. I will post them tomorrow.\

I mounted and ran my temp gauge. I took out the dummy piece next to the vent in the dash and mounted it there.

I than ran my ipod cord for the stero through the dash to the ashtray.

I also got my left side leaf and ubolt plate drilled aligned and mounted on.

Doing right side tomorrow. Getting pics for your guys.
