Passed inspection! but he wants me to have rt front ball joints replaced, my front tires are wearing very nicely, don't want that to change. Is loosing/ changing the existing alignment an absolute when ball joints in my 93 are replaced? Don't hurt to ask...:dunno:

If you mark the camber bushing so it can be put back in the same spot you should be very close. I would still have it aligned after replacing the ball joints.

Adsm thanks! The design of the ball joint setup was what made me wonder since they are not the drill out the rivets type

I have used the tape measure trick. Mark the top & bottom of tyres then measure the distance prior & after the ball joint R/R.

I would still have it aligned after replacing the ball joints.

This is sage advice-

Just an update. I wasn't convinced the beast needs Ball joints. Since I was concerned about the grease on the front wheel I went over top the shop that helped me out on the RABS bypass and dragging rear brakes. "Ball joints are good". And the grease was just the hub cover o-ring (got em from NAPA)
