I have a 1992 2wd xlt. Already have 4" springs. I need to know what drop brackets and other things Ill need in order to align my tires and be able to drive using these springs. also, what is the difference of 2wd and 4x4 lifts if I am to buy a kit? or where can a find a 2wd lift kit?

I wouldn't expect the lifts to be any different but I could be wrong. Both 4wd and 2wd use twin I beam suspension so I would assume the mounting pints are the same.

You'll have to have it aligned at a good alignment shop. Preferably one who's experienced with 4wd lifted alignments. Mine ran about $70 when I had mine done. It drives straight down the road and doesn't wear tires in the front at all.

So the 2wd is different than the 4x4 because it is Ttb and Tib. The 2wd have Tib if you'd want a lift without the camber you have to find some bent beams for your truck. Either that or drop brackets.

Autofab.com has bent beam lifts with the springs for about 750-800 and for drop brackets i wouldn't know were to find them i heard they are garbage unless you want it just for the looks.

There are tons of companies out there that sell bent beam kits that'll "lift" your truck. Plenty of people on dezert rangers sell used beam kits too if you wanna go that route. But if you don't care about having a long travel suspension then I believe rough country sells 2wd lift kits

thanks yall. Ill look into that stuff.

If you go into the tech section under lift subsection there will be the lift kit info in the middle on the bottom and that should help a lot, at least if you're looking for a kit

alright thanks. I think I have everything.

alright thanks. I think I have everything.

You want brackets kind of like these. (These are the ones from my third gen rough country lift just an example)
