With my 83 Ranger, the steering links at the spindle were a HUGE wear item.
For Wheels see what deals you can get from 4WP in your area. I found that with my '13 F150 the cost of replacement 18 in tires, I could go down to 17s get the 4 Wheel Parts Method wheel deal & General Redletters for only $ 150 more than the stock Wranglers it came with out the door. I would recommend that you investigate the backspacing (negative offset) of anything you are looking at. Sticking the wheels way out is just dumb and extremely tough to control after so many miles, this type of "look" does terrible things to the front end. Stick with the stock centerline or deviate minimally. If you want new wheels, do your due diligence. Personally, I have found that by the time I finally make my choice, I have spent many, many hours searching. Discount carries Method Wheels & can also get you a good $$. They just don't give you much of their time. So I called a respected off road wheel manufacturer & spoke to one of their "professional" clerks. https://www.methodracewheels.com/collections/wheels
Are the headlights on?
Don't exclude the pitman arm. Push it up & down, The arm wears out where the male spline connects. Yours should be longer agreed. Good tips too, thx -Doug
