92 2wd wheel fit

Have a 92 2wd with stock 14x6 wheels. Have been offered a set of aftermarket 17x8.5 from a Dakota. The lugs are 5x5, so would need adapters at 1.25" thick. I think the offset is 5.5". Would these fit and how would they look?
