What speed?
How many rpm?
What gear?
How steep is the hill?
How much pedal are you using?
Does it ever do it on level ground?

7% grade 4th gear 2300 rpm 45 mph does do it on level ground when trying to accelerate

Sounds like a few degrees too much timing...don't it.. If that engine don't have adjustable timing then prolly some carbon on the pistons will cause the same sounds. Need to lesson the compression some by cleaning the carbon out.
