Figured I'd post a few of my 91 supercab . I bought this from my uncle for $500 who was the original owner. It had only 98k when I bought it 4 years ago and has roughly 160k now. Had fresh deer damage , rotten exhaust and leaky brakeline. Ran good otherwise. I'll first start off by saying this is my daily beater and everything was done on the cheap or free. I started off with big plans for this a couple years ago, wanted to build a mild prerunner and even had purchased a pile of parts for it. I had even bought some nice Fox 2.0 resi shocks, lift coils and a dugfab coil bucket kit.
But I already have 2 other trucks (one full project.. one semi) so decided to keep my daily my daily. Sold all the good stuff off and continued to drive it everyday.
Just recently it started to need a few things including tires. so I tore the front end down. Replaced a few worn out parts and threw in a set of f150 coils. The stock coils were SHOT to say the least. Probably gained 3"or so of lift. It had some camber bushing in it already so was able to get the camber pretty close. I also threw some factory Ford 2" blocks on the rear. Both came from the junkyard which I paid $60 for a whole pile of parts. Found some used BFG 31x10.50 for $80 off CL. Then found some 8" wide steel 15s for $40. The wheels have only like 3" of backspace so I pulled and rolled the fenders and bedsides.
The lighting sucks bad on these trucks so wanted to add some fogs. Found some guy selling 3 hella rally off road lights for $60 on DR. Built a basic light bar for them to sit on and wired them up to a couple relays I had. Probably overkill for my area and mostly on road driving...but I used to work midnights and drive in a very rural area and deer are a major issue in the roadways. This truck has hit 3 in its lifetime (previous owner). Now I can see them a mile away...lol.
Then on to the back bumper...or what was left of it. It was so rotten I couldn't trust pulling anything with it anymore. I had a Reese hitch off of a B2 laying around and decided to install it. To my surprise it was a couple inches too wide. Decided to just cut off the ends and weld it between the frame rails. I then just made a simple tube bumper and cut the rear fenders a bit. They were rotten and matches up with the bumper now.
So that pretty much sums it up. There are many nice trucks on this forum so figured I'd just try to contribute with a budget "build". Truck runs and drives great now and F150 coils ride very nice. I do beat on this truck from time to time but nothing crazy. Just enough to have some fun. I still have some Chevy 64" leaves and have the patterns for the coil bucket kit just incase I decide to get more serious.
Still need some longer shocks and decide if I'm going to do anything with the rust and beat up body.
Pics.
When I first got it. Still had the damage but it was on the passenger side.

Now..
