Searched and Found nothing.

first things first.. no, i'm not doing HIDs. I have HIDs in my Hella's, that's enough.. not doing it for my headlights. its illegal, i'm not arguing that fact here.

I have the LMC headlights that convert the 1st gens to a nonsealed unit, LOVE them. I just want some whiter lights.... My headlights have that nasty yellow tint to them.

My question, what have yall personally used that gives a white light? I hear so much hear-say on here and other forums. Just tell me what yall have used that yall have liked.

an old pic: but this is the LMC lights

I personally love the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras. I have them in the Ranger and my wife's CR-V and they are a huge improvement. Nice and white without any blue tint like the kids are running in their lowered Civics.

"9003" bulbs are functionally identical to "HB2" of "H4" headlamp bulbs.

Walmart, Advanced, Kragen, Checker, Shucks, AutoZone, etc all carry one or the other.

yes... i know.

so which one is the better WHITE WHITE light? :D

you want another "Mee 2" on Silverstar ultra's? you've got it

I'm currently running Osram 85w/65w H4 bulbs in my Hella H4 headlamps.

frankly I'm not disturbed by "Warm white" headlamps because some headlamps on other vehicles are "cool white"

I grew up in a time with tungsten headlamps that compared to halogen lights looked "yellow" and now compared to either improved halogens or HID's look
"beer bottle brown". the first halogen lights came out after I was already driving.
the difference was astounding.

the difference between standard halogens and HID's is not so great a difference
and most are actually "slightly too blue" for best vision, their "blueness" tends
to glare more, especially to oncomming drivers.

Yes, they are more like "natural daylight"... but if "natural daylight" is so good
why the hell do we all wear sunglasses behind our tinted windshields?

BTW, there is actually a difference between the H4 and the HB2 or 9003.

The H4 specification bulbs are made to stricter tolerances and are actually available in other than the standard 65/55 wattage...

Somewhere around here I even have a pair of H4 bulbs in 3000k Yellow:)

(I believe these are legal in Canada and at one point they were REQUIRED in France)

wasn't really looking for another Me 2 on silverstars... was just asking for what lights people liked.

i have some yellow H4's to.. but i'm not putting them in my b2. not happening. they actually came in a used car we bought one time... i was confused on why they were there.
