I am getting my turbo ranger back from the dead (been 10 years since I licensed it, owned for 21) , and I have a switch I never remember installing going to a connector on the inner driver's side fender. The switch is not factory on the inside. It has a lightgreen/yellow and black wire going into the harness. The other side goes to a 2 wire male connector just dangling. Any idea what someone would have been switching on and off?

My guess would be Fog Lights or driving lights

My truck has the plug there but nothing plugged in that I can remember.

That looks it might be the connector and wires that go to engine compartment light that's mounted on the bottom of the hood.
