90 2.9L 5 speed Fluid change

Ok guys next step. I am assuming i have a Mazda M50D-R1 tranny. Now that I got my engine quiet, I am hearing a bearing noise in the tranny. Clutch depressed, no noise (Neutral) Clutch out here noise. (Neutral) I want to change gear oil with new synthetic. I want to pull bottom access plate to make sure I get all gunk/garbage out as well as checking for shavings. First where is Level Check/Fill Bolt/Port? Second I have checked for acess plate gasket and cannnot find one without rebuild kit. Any suggestios where to get one? Thanks Popsrose

M5ODs do not have an access plate on the bottom. If you have an access plate, you don't have an M5OD. I would just forget about the gasket and use RTV. The fill and drain plugs should be on the side of trans, roughly in the middle.

Yea Right, Looked again in the Tech Library. Apparently it is a mitsu FM132. Maybe! Thanks much. No wonder I could not find gasket.
