i have a set of 07 mustang v6 wheels and i have mounted them on my ranger with 1 inch spacers. the spacers are not hub centric and the wheels wobble. i was wondering if anyone knows the hub bore for the ranger so i can have some spacers made specific. i tried google and a lot of people say 70.3 or 70.5 but thats wrong the mustang wheels are 70.3 any help would be aprreciated

do you have an original spare tire/wheel you can measure the center diameter? if not, pull one of your wheels off and measure the hub itself. then take your spacers to a machine shop and have them bored out to the right diameter. i know the 4x4 hubs are larger as my 16" wheels had to have the front centers machined out to fit over the locking hub.

i have taken a measurement but i wanted to make a 100% sure off the size before i spend $250 on custom non returnable wheel spacers. you know what i mean...its a big nut for something so stupid. thanks for your help. looking for some reassurance that i measured it correctly.

Is the play between the spacer and your truck or the wheel and the spacer?

If it is the wheel and the spacer you will need the diameter of the mustang wheel hub. If it is between the truck and the spacer I would try to get a spacer that is nut centric on the truck side and hub centric on the wheel side so you are not trying to locate your wheels off of something that wasn't meant to locate wheels.

Hubcentric is pretty important unless you run the spacers that have their own lugs. i ran a set of 1 1/4 spacers for 19's and swapped them between my 92 ranger and 2000 mustang. As long as you fin the spacers with their own lug nuts so the spacer bolts to the hub (self centering) and the wheel bolts to the spacer (also self centering) you should not have a prob.
