What is the difference between fm145 and fm146 transmissions. I need a trans for my 88 ext. cab 4x4 ranger with a 2.9 engine and a guy near me has one from a 86 4x4. The numbers on the side of his trans are e67a 7003fb also has 082718. I am sure that mine is the fm146. Can anyone tell me the difference or if this is the right trans:icon_confused:
