Well i got the v8 all ready, all i really need help on now is what fuel regulator should be used and if any modifications are needed with the stock fuel lines, I still have the same setup from the stock 2.9. The new engine is just a regular Chevy 350 carbureted with a mild cam.

just a standard regulator to 6 psi will do the trick. run it just before the carb.

the fuel line runs down the driver side. if its a return system just plug the return line. run a line up behind the driverside valve cover and over to the inlet on the carb.

if you need any info. check out my build thread below.

I used a return style fuel pressure regulator using the stock Ranger pumps. Stock, there's always gas flowing when the engine is running, that keeps the pumps cool. This set up requires that you retain the return line, what not used goes back to the tank. There are other options, like an inline fuel pump using the return line as a feed, but the tank needs dropped to remove a rubber check valve from the return line.

with your truck i would just use the in tank pump right off the first connector after the low pressure filter....run new line from there to carb with a 6psi return.

Alright thanks guys, and black widows i am still so jealous of yours :)

Oh yeah, is there any specific size regulator that i need ?
