86 gen 1 sas build

That photo with the front axle under the truck shows that you need to push the axle forward. Are you planning on that or...? Maybe I missed it in the build. Looking good btw. Keep up the nice work.

Yeah I just rolled it underneath for the picture. It should be in the stock location when I'm done. It just gave me an idea how far the tires stuck out with full widths. I'll put up some more pics tonight.

I just spent 6 hrs in the garage and got a little done. I got my joints welded on my rad arms, brackets for the joints to the frame made, welded the wedges to the axle, rad arms bolted up, axle under the truck with the rad arms c clamped up, and the coils on the axle. Pushing that heavy pos by myself sucks!

I ran into an issue with my buckets. The coils don't want to center in the buckets to stay verticle so Ill figure that out next time. I might just build my own buckets rather than f with the ones I got.

Thank god the holidays are over! I got out tonight n got a bunch done! The rad arms are up n bolted. Buckets and coils are in place. I thought I had a 3/4" drill bit but I don't so once again I'm stuck till I go tot the hardware store. The wife's going to order me the shaft for the doubler so that should be done soon. It's getting close!

Now just waiting on my other parts from ruff stuff. The wife's on midnights for two weeks so I can't work on the truck till Saturday. At least I won't have to stop working on it cuz of lack of parts. I might stop n try to get lug nuts n brake parts in the morning.
I gave up doing this slowly n pocket friendly. I wanna get back to wheeling! Let the credit card points stack up!

That was quick! I have a spare transfer case, maybe I should look into a doubler.... :D

Duffy was really quick and has a bunch in stock. He also said he has made 250 or so doublets and if I needed help call his cell. I ordered it Friday around noon so he's got the fastest shipping out of any places I have ordered parts from.:icon_thumby:
