Who is going to be making your custom doubler shaft?

Who is going to be making your custom doubler shaft?

My wife works in a machine shop as a quality control inspecter and one of the machinists/welders said he'd do it for a lunch. I still got to go back to the junkyard to pull a trans just for the shaft.

I got the plate for the doubler complete. Everything bolted on an primered. All that is left is to mate it to the 1354, make clearence for the new bolts on the housing, primer the 1354, go to the junk yard and get the stub shaft on Wednesday, and have the shaft by thurs night. Mounted by Friday and the old suspension coming out for sure next weekend. :yahoo:
Pics tomorrow night!

the doubler is almost complete. all that is left is the internals and to do the fill and drain holes. after i pinted it i said screw it and ripped the front out. now i got a bunch of fabbing of brackets to do. heres some pics!

I found a guy with a bunch of ranger parts for free so I'm going to check that out this weekend. He said he's got a couple of trans so hopefully I can get the shaft for the doubler.

i havent opened my garage in over a month due to the wife and the kid.
i just ordered springs from duff online on monday and havent heard anything about it so i got to call them tomorrow. i also spent a bunch of money for ballistic stuff to. its going to be like christmas when all my stuff gets here. :yahoo:

the doubler hasnt been finished yet but next wed. im going to get the stub from a tranny and get the ball rolling again.hopefully the fam will let me do my thing for a couple of weeks without honey do's.

way back when i lifted my superduty and gave my father my set of coopers for him to use or sell. he never did anything with them so i picked them up for the ranger. i think they look good for 32.8's or 285/75/16's. i put one up for shits and gigs. i cant wait for my parts to come in.
teaser pic!

You mean you ain't done yet?

ive had a ton of stuff to deal with. between the baby being sick and paying off doctors and my bacement flooded so i had to fix that and get rid of everything that got wet. its been hell! im back on track and the baby is better!

All of those things are much more important than a truck. Especially the kiddo! Just think....He/she will one day enjoy the hell out of the truck with you. Glad the baby's better!

I know my little dude loves riding in mine...and he's only a year and a half.

my boy will be 1 one the 29th. and yes you are so right. i dont mind spending my time and money making sure he's ok. if all goes to plan he'll have the coolest truck in highschool.

Awesome! I'm glad he's well!

But do you REALLY want to give him that in high school? I think a 4x4 is as bad as giving a kid a muscle car. Especially one like your's! The things I did to my old blazer....*shutter*.
