how much are they worth i am thinking about buying one to replace my knuckles for i can have 6 lug up front to match the back . can i just use the knuckles rotor backing plate and use my eb dana 44 shit or do i need to use both . than i want to put the waggy togather with5 lug and sell how much is worth thank u :icon_confused:

I believe a dana 44 is a dana 44 so yes you can use the knuckles. why buy the whole axle if you only need the knuckles???

i know i can use the knuckles but do i have to use the waggy axles or can i still use eb 44 alxes

You will need new aftermarket inner shafts. The EB44 uses smaller Ujoints then a standard D44. You have to use the complete outers from the waggy axle. The jeep stub shaft has to be used with the jeep outers. There is a slight length difference between a ford stub and a GM/jeep stub shaft.

although toreado is right. I think i recall people still mixing them one way and it works, I dont remember which way. So you should check on it. I dont remember if its ford into a chevy or a chevy into a ford. I havent had a dana44 in over a year.

thank all but i am going to hold out till i can find a chevy dana 44 and use that

use it for what? its going to be the same thing dude.

i have 6 lug in the back so if i use chevy 44 knuckles and the short side axle i am told will fit my long side. then send the long side out to get cut down and respine

short side fitting the long side. That doesnt even sound close to right. Do you have measurments?

Couldn't you just swap the the 5 lug knuckles for the 6 lug knuckles? I mean why do you have to go through all this trouble with axle shafts and stuff? Dana 44 knuckles should fit on a Dana 44 housing, so pull the old knuckles off and put on the new ones.

If he wants 6 lug theres no reason to mix match. My D44 has chevy knuckles for highsteer. With chevy small bearing spindles and ford wheel bearings and hub and rotor so that I can run highsteer with 5x5.5 to match my 9". But since he wants 6 lug he can run any 6 lug D44 outer just has to get the shafts to match.

no no, i meant i recall that you can use ford stubs in a chevy knuckle/out.
