8.8 axle swap with all 5 shocks?

its just like the 8.8 in the s197 mustangs (05-09?) their is a bar on top the pumkin to add torque control, there is a traction bar near each tire that runs up to the frame rail and their are the mounting points for the 2 shocks.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. What I thought were additional forward mounting shocks were actually the stock traction bars. I should have stuck my head further under the truck to verify. I am surprised there isn't more talk about using the stock traction bars..

Definitely wasn't trying to use my shocks and the donor shocks together lol. I do want to see if I can get these stock traction bars to work though.

I have seen the Sploder frame brackets used on a Ranger. They aren't that hard to install, if you want traction bars.
