i see. well im gonna give these a shot, if they sag a little bit thats fine, im planning on lowering it about 2.5 inches anyways and if they sag too much, i got some f-250 lift coils laying round.

Not an update

so this isnt an update to the truck but its an update as to whats going on.


with my tax return im hoping to buy a few small things for the truck, im not sure what yet though. im thinkin maybe some more sheetmetal to fix the rust in the firewall, some DOM to make my inner fenders so i can cut out my twisted rusty ones lol. nothings set in stone yet though.

on a side note i was haulin logs today and "happened" to take the long way through the back woods and snapped a pic of where my trucks sitting.

it looks very sad

i never did get around to throwing my tarp over it before it started snowing.

sooooo.....ive been scrollin epay alot and i found a set of F-250 8" lift coils and theyre a decent price ($205)

will these be TOO stiff?

b4 the 460 id say theyd bee too stiff but after id think theyd be just about right but im no expert

Wow... is your truck ever gonna be a beast when its done... We had a old '75 thunderbird here for a little while with the 460 in it. We used to joke about how crazy my '89 would be with it in there lol But came to the cunclusion it couldnt be done. You, my friend, should prove me wrong and take LOTS of pictures!

Bump for my last question and a new one. i hope gwaii sees this lol.

ive been thinkin about what im gonna do for exhaust. im thinkin thaat im going to buy the header flanges off ebay and build my own, theyll most likely have to be pointed out and into the fenderwell then down the frame.

ive studied how gwaii did his on GT-12 but his were a bit more involved it seems. so any pointers/tips/secrets or better options?
