6x9 Question


The magnet is definitely hugging the metal on the cab.

well to much incorrectly place magnetic force can tweek a coil. and just cause premature failure. the biggest thing would be any or the leads touching the body
 
haha, the leads weren't touching, the huge ass magnet made sure of that, haha, but, i just took the safe route and took them out and put my old kenwoods back in. Got a 10" Sub instead haha.
 
i cut the holes in my doors bigger and put a 6x9 in each door. then in the rear i cut a hole in each one of the speaker grills that came on the truck and mounted a 6 1/2 in each one
