Probably one of the single worst articles out there. The Model T made the list because it made automobiles more easily available to people and we are now "paying for it a century later." And apparently the Explorer is one of the worst cars of all time because it made people realize they like sitting up high? I wish it would say who wrote that so called, "article".

The model T was a hunk of crap that broke constantly. It was an innovation for the automobile industry but it wasn't a quality vehicle. As for the Explorer, that makes no sense except the part about the Hummer. I guess that sucks but I don't see how it's a problem to have SUV's.

I don't quite understand explorer. Everyone in the media knocks the crap out of it, when you can't drive around oneday without seeing 10 of them. The model T, well thats just stupid. They expect a car built in 1909 to have 30 mpg, 300 horsepower, and be cheap as hell. A little over the top. Guy is a complete tool.

The model T wasn't expected to do that. It was expect to run. It was the first mass produced car and the quality reflected that. You can find hundreds of things to read online to talk about the Model T and the problems it had. You can also find when Henry Ford said they didn't fix it because people still bought it.

the model T was a pioneer because it helped invent the assembly line and standardize parts, which is why it was so cheap and therefore sold so many. seems like i saw a video a few years back that said they could assemble a model t in like 23 minutes on the assembly line. and of course it broke all the time, did the first airplane fly across the atlantic? no

it's a problem to have SUV's for all those environmental nuts out there that think that all the SUV's in america are to blame for global warming. no, it's not the 1 billion (and growing) people in china or the fact that 1 active volcano emits more greenhouse gases than all the cars in the world combined, it's the explorers fault.

you could compile another top 50 list based on which cars have killed the most people

I hate to say it but what was so wrong with the chevette? They were reasonably reliable compared to other cars in the 80's and good on gas. Yes, they were embarrassing to drive and it really told the ladies that you had, like, less than zero dollars but it wasn't a bad car if all you wanted to do was get around.

That wouldn't look too good for American cars. We have never been largely focused on safety until about 10 years ago.

The author that wrote this article is clearly an idiot. The funny thing is, some people will read it and base their opinions off of it.

The Model T wasn't too bad. Sure, when water was on the heads, the dang engine wouldn't start. But my relative in Kanasas has one and it still runs.

That 50 worst list is somewhat off. Some vehicles deserive it, most don't.

Why the hell wasn't the VW Bus on that list? It became the hippie mobile of choice and that is never good.

Wow. That writer is a total Douche.

totally weird - anything about SUVs is written with a green slant, but then there are constant complaints about emissions-compliant v8s from the 70s and 80s? so weird
