I need these!!!! But I wonder if they would fit on my Ranger? 1990 with 95-97 knuckles and brakes explorer 8.8 in back.

They should fit.

They should if the center bore is large enough. Wheels from those years of Mustangs usually fit on the Rangers pretty good. 17" wheels will clear the 13" Mustang Cobra brakes, so they should definitely clear the Explorer rear brakes.

Measure the backspacing/offset before buying them. I have 94-5 Mustang wheels on my 93 Ranger and they have a little too much backspacing so I made some steering stops to prevent them from rubbing on full lock turns.

15" factory aluminum wheels will clear the dual piston front and the Explorer rear brakes. Barely. You should be fine there. I second the statement about backspacing/offset. It makes a HUGE difference on the Ranger.

I've been playing with wheel/tire ideas for my 99, so I took a look at these too.

Stock 90 Ranger aluminum bullet hole wheels (ones in your sig pic should have same specs)
Size: 15x7
hub bore: 70.6 mm
Offset: +12 mm

5.0 Resto 10-hole
Size: 17x8
Hub Bore: 70.6 mm
Offset: +19 mm

Looks like you'll be good on center bore. Plugged those other number into a visual aid:

If you've got 1" of clearance at full lock on current wheels, you'd be good to go. If not I wouldn't hesitate to run them with a 1/4 or 1/2 inch spacer and ET lug nuts. 1/4" would about center them up with existing wheels.

If those are your style, I'd say go for it.

I think I'll be getting the 18x9 SVE Mach 1 wheels for my 99 in the next couple of years. Going to have to make do with the Explorer 18x8s for a little while though. Kind of prefer the 17s, but hard to find a tire in the size I think I want for a 17.
