Where do I start? 1996 F-SUPERDUTY 10 lug


In an effort to make the truck quieter inside I took my downpipe off and welded a 3” to 5” adapter on and a short length of 5”, all stainless. From there back I used a used piece of 5” aluminized for now to get it back behind the axle.

So when I originally did the RSK on both of my trucks, I just accepted the way they drove as normal for a lifted leaf spring truck. I did not believe I needed a panhard bar. I recently started getting death wobble only at in town speeds on bad potholes. My friend convinced me I needed a trac bar. I ordered ruffstuffs universal kit. The axle bracket fit perfectly, and the frame side bracket I trimmed to fit.

after driving it I couldn’t believe how tight and responsive it made the steering, it also corners so well now. The steering wheel doesn’t move at all on bad bumps. It was totally worth it, and needed.
 
Well, being without a stack didn’t last long. I have always loved stacks but I always complain about the noise. Well I got a turnout style stack and it is significantly quieter in the cab. I’m happy with it.
