5.0 and C6 tranny in 85 Bronco II

HI Gang,

I've read that the C4 and C5s will work but I am having a hard time finding much on the C6 in an 85 BII. Is it a good tranny for this conversion? How much trouble will I have connecting it to the BW 1350 Tcase?

I greatly appreciate any input. Thanks!

The c-6 is a power hog from what I've read.

its a tough tranny tho. I got one for my bronco 11

the c6 for the small block does fit in the bronco 2 its tight but it will fit.. a body lift helps.. the biggest issue is the length its longer than most other trannys.. that combined with the tcase makes for short tight driveline angle in the rear.. the 1356 will fit if its a 4x4 trans.. if not youll need to swap in a 4x4 output shaft and tail housing.. that requires dismantalling the tranny..
