Yes, but without mods you're looking at a good 3-4" drop in ride height at least. Probably more like 5" actually.
Unless that's what your going for, the spring perches need flipped to the other side of the tubes. Use the axle that's in the truck for reference.
If you want to use the explorer springs with the axle underneath of them, you need to remove the pin in the middle of the spring pack and flip it around, or really just use another bolt.
Thanks that is what I need to know I had planed to flip the spring perch and yeah I had planed to use the explorer springs as they are in way better shape than mine or at least use them to rebuild my spring pack.
i swapped exp springs and rear into my truck and i love it. sure it has the same gears but i love the springs i towed a trailer from nevada to NJ and it sat level the whole time it woldnt have done that with stock springs for sure
If a person is putting a 92 Explorer 8.8 in a 88 Ranger that has a 7.5, and didn't flip the perches, that would make the back of the Ranger lower right ????
