Ok starting off, I have a 93 STX. It has a 3in body lift and what I'm guessing maybe a 3-4 in suspension lift. The front has a 1in coil spring spacer, and drop down brackets. Thus leaves me to belive that its a 3in lift coil spring. I took it out to replace it with a 4in lift but that turned out to be for a 2wd. The 2wd 4in lift spring measures 17in in total length. My spring I took off the ranger, measures at 17in as well. Now I know 4x4's sit a lil higher that 2wd for obvious reasons, so I guess the question I would be asking is what is the length of a factory 4x4 spring? :dunno: The truck is on jackstands so help would be great asap. Thanks!

Most 2wd and 4wd drive spring applications are the same aftermarket.

Yep, springs are the same.
The 4WD's height comes from the different shape of the axle beam.

For a 4" lift, the coil spring should measure approx 14.5-15" with the vehicle's weight on it.
