Coil spring set up for dana 35 4x4 ranger

Oh I couldve probably put that together if I thought about it. I thought maybe they had some unique design that increased flex. I was thinking of just running 6" lift springs with no block to get about 3.5" of lift and getting the BDS 4" lift coils in the front so that it stays close to level. Is there any advantage or disadvantage to running no block?

I would suggest stick with Skyjacker for springs.
BDS *might* be OK, or might not (I don't have personal experience with them). Unless you have some actual info on them, you're basically shooting blind if you're looking for a good spring... I do know BDS kits use the same drop-plate extension bracket as Rough Country (and early Superlift) kits that bashes holes thru differential castings, so that tells me their kits are not as well engineered as Skyjacker's, so the same may or may not be true of their springs.
