4R44E Help

The O/D light flashing is just a generic transmission fault code, along the lines of blinking 4x4 lights.

well he didnt bring his scanner home tonight so no progress there. One thing i did figure out is that the O/D Off light only flashes when the tranny is warm and i take off from a stop without having the O/D Off button pushed. It stays flashing until i shut the truck off, then it doesnt turn on again until i drive awhile and try to accelerate from a stop with Overdrive on. I generally drive with O/D off since its a 3.0, that why i didnt notice this right away.

Now i cant get the POS to throw the code...but now there is tranny fluid running out of the bellhousing in a steady stream :pissedoff: it did it on the first test drive and i thought the front seal in the trans was messed up but when i went to pull it in the garage to drop the tranny again it wouldnt do it. So ive put aver 250 miles on it and it just started leaking again!!!!! I drove 45 miles this morning to get to school and it didnt leak, i drove 30 miles to get to work, didnt leak, went 15 miles home, didnt leak. Then i drove 20 miles trying to get it to throw that code and now it started leaking WTF:pissedoff:
Now What???

im guessing its the input seal, i guess the tranny is comin back out. Ill see what i can find
