4bt swap -- 95 Explorer

I want to see moar! I finally read the whole deal. Thank the lord there are others who are against this fawking fad called "rolling coal".

If I was some big chuck Norris sum bitch I'd beat the living piss out of every coal rolling mother phucker out there. But I'm not. :( so I just complain about them online and call the police station saying they are driving dangerously and think they may be intoxicated. :D

I took the Edge box off my Sooper Dooty because of the smoke/EGTs. Running a stock tune, has enough power, no smoke, and cooler EGTs. I good with that.

Really liking the attention to detail you are giving for this. I'll rep you when I get on the computer

This is more important....

Really?? Weld on wedgies, Johnny joints under the frame? Factory c's with Dom welded to the C's look at Kyle M's. Work great, super easy.

On another note, why didnt you guys cut the engine crossmember rather than notching the oil pan?

Front axle clearance comes to mind. But that is just my guess.

guess you missed my build pics lol. no oil pan notching here, i am also a hella lot taller than the exploder kev is running.

as for the wedges and all that other stuff, id rather go DOM radius style looks nicer and actually would probably be cheaper.

I agree, but there are times when a high powered diesel blowing smoke is just awesome.

This is a friend's truck that he built strictly for truck pulls.
He's making about 900 HP give or take at the crank.

Sorry about the thread jack.

Correction.... Anything making 900 HP is awesome. That being said, If he drives it on the street and belches black smoke, he's in the same category as the rest... Doucher.

We painted a pulling truck. Dodge Ram with a 6BT. DOWNGRADED to 1800 ft lbs of torque at the rear wheels. Said he kept blowing the axles apart, so he downgraded... He doesn't blow smoke anywhere but a pulling track

Well it's not street legal, so he shouldn't be smoking anybody who is not in a grand stand too often:D
What year was that truck?

A 1993456789ish something. It was about 10 different trucks.
