Can someone please tell me what I would need to get to put a 4bt in my 94 ranger. Its 4x4 with sos. It has a 70 dana 44 and rear 9 inch out of a bronco. The truck is my daily driver. I need to know what tranny and transfer case to use. I would like the truck to stay a manual with the 4bt swap. All info on the swap would be very appreciated thank you.

Find the rare ford adapter and run a ZF/NP set up.

Then mock up the engine and notch the oil pan around your diff or lift it sky high and not have to alter the pan.

Oh I would say thats plenty lol. I put the engine as far back and low as I could just to keep center of gravity down. Its a pretty easy fit in there, just have to get rid of the giant starter thats in there. There are a few ranger swaps floating around different sites.

run whatever trans and t case the engine is setup for...

typically they have a a setup for a t400 behind them. i would use a chevy case like a 241 drivers drop on something like that. run whatever chevy manual you like as well.

if its setup for a ford...same thing.

Remember if you use Chevy to either tilt the engine or your transmission will be tilted
