You need to increase the room between your frame and your cab... a lot.

Increasing the room between your frame and ground will only make the truck higher and harder to work on.
 
yes in my first post I said the truck will have a 3" body lift. I already have it just haven't put it under there yet

A SAS would delete the big hunk of metal (crossmember) under your engine so you can have the engine sit lower.
 
would deleting the cross member be necessary to sit the engine lower even with a 3" body lift? and does anyone know how the headers would fit with the steering shift outside the frame rail? would custom headers be necessary to clear still?
