Anyone know how much the head needs milled with proper length pushrods and 988 springs? I’ve read .030” and .042”

you mill heads to whatever in desired/required.

then measure once gasketed up so you know what you need.

To add to what @bobbywalter pointed out, for that cam your valve spring seats will probably be deepened, which also affects the final push rod length. Definitely get the heads on and measure the actual required push rod length for proper lifter preload 🍻

one good thing about living where i do....trend, diamond and katech are all local to me.

i can usually call and have pushrods made to ready by the time me or my ol lady gets there. sometimes it takes a day or so if they are too much of a freak size.
