4 wheel low -- NO high

Hey all- still running auto hubs on my 94 B4000- last time here I had no 4x4 at all so I cleaned everything up there really well and got 4 low but no high- Do you think it's a hub problem that I'm not getting high or a transfer case case issue? Please say hubs...TIA-

It could be hubs... (the t-case is engaging but a bad hub preventing drive power from getting to the front wheels). If this was the case though, you wouldn't have 4WD-LO either, it would effectively be 2WD-LO.

See if you can rotate the front driveshaft by hand... If it turns freely (or it turns a half-turn and you hear both front hubs lock), the t-case is not engaging 4WD. If it doesn't turn, then I'd say the hubs are most likely your issue.

good point 4x4junkie... I'm not sure if it was actually 4wd-lo or just 2wd-lo. I'll check front driveshaft to see what it's doing, thanks for the reply-
