is there a way to bypass all of the nutral safety features that keep it from going into 4lo im getting tired of getting dead ends trying to figure out why i just get flashing lo light.
I wont have any problem with shifting into 4lo since I always stop first even in my 88 ranger with a manual tc and for your other question it was a auto now it is a manual and after buying everything for the swap I don't have any cash to buy another tc even if i could find a 1354m that I haven't been able to locate.
If you swapped out from an auto to a manual tranny the electronic shift control for the t-case is probably still looking for the signal from the old automatic transmission letting it know the tranny's in neutral.
i would just fix the problem rather than trying to bypass everything...it will be a lot easier down the road.
IIRC, the shift module needs to see zero VSS input, clutch switch closed (clutch down), and 4x4 hi engaged before it will shift. find out which of these isnt happening, and fix it.
