I am changing the slave cylinder in my 99 ranger sport, 3.0 2wd. When I checked on the warranty of the clutch and pressure plate, I discovered auto zone had sold me the one for a 4 cylinder. :icon_confused: It fits fine and still looks good after about 18 months of use. Is there enough difference between the two to worry about exchanging them? Thank you in advance

The 3.0 and 2.5 used to same transmissions so you should be fine. The 3.0 doesn't really make enough power to hurt anything, lol.

Thanks, was worried about putting it back in and having to pull it back off 6 months down the road.

they used the same clutch in everything except the 4.0, so it's the right clutch...
