I've cleaned out the fuel tank, replaced the whole sending unit, checked fuses, the inertia switch and I still can't get fuel pressure. I can take the bed off to get to the tank easily. What could the issue be after all this have been tested and troubleshot with no fix?

Is the pump running? Fuel pressure regulator leaking to intake? Stopped up fuel filter?

did you check the fuse? Its a 30amp green maxi fuse driver side fuse box under hood.

I checked the fuse and that was good, I checked the relayand it seems to be working, but I don't hear the pump running.

I can't hear the pump running. It's a new filter. I checked all fuses and relays. I even went as far as to take the fuse box loose to check for loose wires.

Well if you can here the pump running... all the wiring is good.

I think the 98... if it's your 98 you have listed is a return less system. Meaning only pressure line with no return hose?

You sure there is no pressure? How did you test it?

You sure you enough fuel in the tank?

Pump and sender matched?

Yes. It's a returnless system. I can't hear the pump, and I checked pressure from the Schrader valve on the fuel rail.

Ok...

Not sure how it misread that is doesn't run.

Jumper the relay connection so the pump receives constant 12 volts. Pump should run continuously. If not... you have an open/poor connection between relay and pump. If it does run... you have an open/poor connection at the relay or control circuit.

Could you please share your experience with fuel pump brands?, Which do you think is the besT?

Last time I bought one it was a Spectra.

They're all a buyer beware these days.
