Hey all, I am doing up a 2.8L motor (full thread in 2.8 section), and on this build I have given the cam a nice grind. The place that did up the grind, (the shop) is located 15 minutes from me and today I went in to pick up the cam and the lifters (they resurface them too) and we got into talking about different ford motors. I first went to see him last year when I built up my 4.0 and wanted to see if they did custom push rods. 
nope. however, I had already had purchased the comp cam 410 before I had talked to him. Today when we were talking about cams and profiles, Jeff mentioned that he has a very nice low to mid power grind for the 4.0L and has done many over the years. since the 410 needs secondary push rods ordered to spec, his cams for the 4.0L don't require the extra hassles for getting new rods. The profile works very nice.
I wanted to mention this in here for he says that if 6 guys want to go for a group buy he is willing to give discounts. You will need to be either in the process of tearing apart the motor or have a second camshaft handy to send to him for he rebuilds your original shafts. he also has a extreme profile and another for the true off roaded rig that is similiar to the low to mid cam. Just wanted to let you guys know about this place if you are thinking of building up the 4.0L.
