Hey guys,
We are in the middle of a 4.0 v6 to 302-V8 swap.
So, we are swapping the M5r1 to an M5R2.
This is a '91 Supercab 4x4.
The red 2 conductor plug is on both trannies...I assum this is the back-up light switch?
The black 2 conductor plug is on the R1 but not the R2?
I saw in the tech forums, this is the NSS...neutral switch?
This is a 4x4...and I am going to put a 1356 transfer case behind the tranny.
Will I need to jumper the NSS switch for the electronic transfer case shift to work?
I assume the neutral switch is used to make sure you are in neutral before you swith to 4L?
Also, any advice on driveshafts would be great.
Thanks for any help.
Ernie
