4.0 ohv to 4.0 sohc

so I have a 2002 ford explorer sport trac which recently has been rear ended I want to pull the 4.0 sohc out with trans and transfercase and put it in my 96 4.0 ohv can I and anything extra needed

You need the whole harness; I think it's straight one for one. What state? Emissions stuff has to follow to in most with test. Yet, shouldn't this be in projects not urgent?

Yeah, in 96 it should be easy. Take everything including the dash and fuel system from the ST.
